Flint Club's 4th Friday Breakfast Series is off to a successful start!

Our first breakfast in January, with guest speaker Mayor Walling,  had  professionals in the downtown area before daylight! Mayor Walling presented an interesting mix of history, statistics and solutions for Flint's future. We are pleased that Mr. Walling, took time out of his busy schedule to speak and answer tough questions on the state of our community.  And as hoped, February's 4th Friday proved to be as insightful as our first. On the heels of his announcement to run for Michigan Governor, Dan Kildee shared his perspective on land use and the idea of "reshaping" Flint's physical footprint. As a Flint native and a national land-use expert, Dan Kildee lead a very educational and entertaining dialogue.  We would like to thank both Dan Kildee and Mayor Walling for participating in our early morning conversations and we look forward to hearing more interesting ideas and creative solutions for Flint in the rest of our series.

We would like to also thank Blackstone's Pub and Grill for opening their doors so early for us!  And a special thank you to our door prize sponsors and volunteers. Financial sponsors, goodie bag items and door prizes are always needed, if your organization or business would like to help contact info@flintclub.org today!

Our next  4th Friday Networking Breakfast is on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 7:30-9am at Blackstone's 533 S. Saginaw St. Flint, MI 48502 with a special panel discussion about the "state of the arts" in Flint.

The cost is $12 at the door or $30 for three sessions. Discounts are available for current students. Each 4th Friday session includes a full breakfast with beverages catered by Blackstone's, guest speaker or panel discussion, professional networking opportunities, door prizes, and much more!

You don't want to miss out on this unique opportunity to have real conversations about the state of our community.
